Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do you guarantee colour?
For jobs where colour accuracy is essential, it is imperative that you request a colour proof when placing your order. Without a colour proof, we cannot be held accountable for any discrepancies between what you see on your computer screen and the colours in your printed materials, such as flyers. To ensure flawless colour reproduction, a colour proof is the only way to go.
Eventz Group disclaims any responsibility for differences in colour between your submitted files and the final printed product.
Explain the difference between glossy and matt paper stock?
Coated papers come in two distinct finishes: glossy, which is shiny and smooth, and matt, characterized by its flat and non-reflective surface. The glossy variety excels at reflecting light uniformly, making it an excellent choice for nearly any printing project. With their impressive ink holdout, glossy papers ensure that images appear sharp and vibrant.
What is the resolution of output file?
The PDF file is created at a resolution of 300 dots per inch, ensuring high-quality output.
What printing method do you use?
Our printing process utilizes offset technology, ensuring that both text and images achieve the utmost quality in print materials.
Are the prices listed on the site final? How do I know the total cost?
The price list reflects the fundamental costs of products based on estimated quantities. These prices are determined using the simplest types of paper or card, standard sizes, and single-sided printing. However, the ultimate printing cost is influenced by various factors, including the weight or thickness of the paper/card (GSM/Pt), whether the finish is glossy or matte, the choice between 2 or 4 colours, the shape of the corners (square or rounded), single or double-sided printing, the quantity ordered, shipping fees, and the chosen transport method.
To estimate the basic cost, please refer to the indicative prices. After you place your order with the specified parameters, we will promptly send you the final, precise cost.

What is CMYK?
CMYK represents the colours Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (black). This colour model is essential in the world of printing, where different proportions of these hues are blended in tiny dots to create the vibrant colours seen in images.
What is print resolution?
Resolution is the measure of how many dots or pixels are utilized to render an image. When it comes to printing, a resolution of 300DPI (dots per inch) is vital for achieving a crisp and clear image, ensuring that it can be enlarged without any degradation in quality.
What are bleeds?
A bleed is essential when you want your image to reach the very edge of the page. Printers have a limited printable area that is a tad smaller than the actual paper size. To ensure a seamless finish, the image should extend 3mm beyond the final dimensions. This way, when the paper is trimmed post-printing, any unwanted white borders will be completely removed.
What are Pantone colours?
Pantone colours are part of the Pantone Matching System (PMS), a standardized colour matching system widely utilized in the printing industry. Each colour is assigned a distinct name or number, rather than relying solely on visual cues. This system ensures consistency, guaranteeing that colours remain uniform across different printing systems and throughout various print runs.
What are crop marks?
Crop marks are the intersecting lines found at the corners of a page, serving as precise indicators for where the printed artwork should be trimmed to achieve the final dimensions after the printing process.

What is Wire-O Binding?
Wire-O bound booklets are crafted by threading a wire through tiny punched holes along the margins, much like a notepad. This binding method, often referred to as spiral binding due to its coiled wire, is both popular and budget-friendly. It allows the booklet to lay completely flat on a surface, making it perfect for cookbooks, instruction manuals, or presentations where you need to keep your hands free.
What are saddle-stitched booklets?
Saddle-stitched is a widely favoured method for binding booklets, where folded sheets of paper are secured with stitches. This technique involves stitching along the spine, effectively holding the pages together in a neat and organized manner.
What are perfect bound books?
Perfect bound books are crafted by adhering the pages directly to the spine, creating a seamless finish. The term “perfect bound” comes from the meticulous process where both the pages and the cover are trimmed to identical dimensions, ensuring they align flawlessly.
